Here are the newly created Merbabies. Merbabies each know their own Mother, but they are all raised together by the entire sisterhood. They spend half of each day in classes, the other half on community chores. When they reach the age of 13, each merbaby's skills and talents will be evaluated and they will then be assigned as apprentice to one of the mermaids or mermen for further training. Each merbaby purchased will have a card on his or her arm giving Mother's name and some information about merbaby's current behaviors or skills. Each design is copyrighted and personally signed by me. They are made from 1/2 in. wood, stained, painted, decorated, varnished with a water-proof varnish, and are approximately 18-20 inches long. The water-proof finish will allow them to be hung outdoors and be as element proofed as I can make them. The prices range from $65.00 to $225.00 depending on labor involved. Merbaby Tori is the daughter of Avisha, the Dolphin Mistress. She spends every free moment chasing the sea horses until they are at the point of exhaustion. She has often been reprimanded by members of the Sea Sisterhood, but that hasn't stopped her yet.
Kira is the daughter of Lotus, the Sea Sisterhood's Bringer of Happiness. Merbaby Kira tries to follow in her mother's footsteps by tickling the madrapores (corals), which they do not really appreciate.
Born to Aelonnia, the Sea Sisterhood's Keeper of the Flowing Waters, merbaby Tarran has found her talent lies in decorating, particularly in using fountains as centerpieces. She is always in charge of decorations for all of the merbaby parties.
